The Gaul provinces were classed by later Romans into "Gallia togata" (toga-wearing Gauls, the guys on the Italian side of the Alps who have been Romanized) and "Gallia bracata" (trouser-wearing Gauls) and "Gallia comata" (long-haired Gauls).
Beign a Roman means never having to stop classifying things, kids.
